Basic Stick Welding

Would you like to be able to make repairs around the farm, build a garden gate, or explore a new potential career? This introductory class to Shielded Metal Acc Welding (Stick) may be what you need. It will provide you with basic skills needed to perform simple welding tasks, and a foundation of skills and knowledge to build upon. At the completion of this class you will have developed welding skills through the practice of good habits. The emphasis of instruction will be on safety, electrode selection, machine adjustment and all position welding techniques. Proper personal protective equipment will be required, including leather work shoes or boots, welding jackets, or heavy long sleeve shirts, welding gloves and safety glasses. Welding hoods will be provided.
